Rooftop Lounge
Integrated parking structure
Titan provided construction management for the iconic Jack Henry Building renovation, which was originally built in 1954.
The extensive renovation included new exterior finishes, glass and tile, a street-facing patio, the Chiefs Fit rooftop lounge, and parking garage repairs and improvements.
The three-story interior renovation included erection of a new steel staircase at the building’s southwest corner. The new 39,500 SF Chiefs Fit fitness center occupies the upper levels and rooftop. Highly-durable finishes, specialized training equipment, and extensive electrical and technology upgrades will stand up to pro and aspiring pro athletes alike.
Construction challenges included:
- increasing the basement height clearance through excavation of 4.5 ft. of limestone
- erection of a new 4-story steel staircase to connect interior levels and display exterior Chiefs Fit signage
- the site, located in the heart of the Country Club Plaza, was constrained by occupied buildings in a high-traffic corridor
